Pure Valley Black is our premium grain-fed beef, proudly raised and finished in the heart of Victoria’s Goulburn Valley. Classified as “Y” milk tooth yearlings and MSA graded at processing, these British-bred cattle—primarily Angus, Hereford, and Shorthorn—are grown at our 1300-head feedlot in Wyuna, just 220km from Melbourne. Fed a wheat-based grain ration for 75 days, the cattle produce carcases that dress between 200–230kg HSCW, delivering consistently smaller, manageable cuts ideal for butcher shops and food service where 300g portions are preferred. The result is beautifully marbled beef with brilliant white fat and rich flavour. Processed weekly by Radford Abattoir in Gippsland and delivered to our depots fresh, Pure Valley Black is a dependable choice for quality, consistency and taste.
